To prepare for the procedure, it is necessary to avoid taking aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (like ibuprofen or ketoprofen).

It is recommended to quit smoking one month before the surgery and during the postoperative recovery period to reduce the possibility of postoperative complications related to healing. If you cannot quit smoking, try to reduce the number of cigarettes smoked per day as much as possible.

Labiaplasty Surgery

Labiaplasty surgery is most commonly performed under local anesthesia, supplemented with intravenous sedation. Usually, the procedure is done on an outpatient basis.

The surgery takes 30-60 minutes depending on the complexity of the case.

All incisions made are carefully placed to prevent painful scarring along the edge of the labia. The sutures are made with absorbable stitches.
